The United States of broadband

The US constitution says we’re all created equal, but to this day, broadband availability is not. More than 24 million Americans lack access to broadband. To create a blueprint for action for everyone from consumers to policymakers, the FCC mapped national broadband speed and availability across the country, down to the neighborhood level. That’s five billion vector combinations — over 68 million records, across 11 million blocks, with 441 different broadband providers  — all on one map.
